Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. There isn’t added stress to find the perfect gift for your loved ones. It’s all about spending time with the ones you’re thankful for and celebrating your time with them.
This year, just like last year, my friends and I celebrated Thanksgiving together with our annual Friends-giving. When I went down to Bozeman, I was able to get breakfast with my old bosses which was such a great time. I miss them so much so spending a couple of hours together while getting breakfast was amazing.
For Friends-giving my friend Shanna and I made the pies together which was extremely fun. I decided to make them for Thanksgiving as well and both times they turned out great and spending a weekend with them was what I needed. I miss them so much.
Thanksgiving day was a little different this year because my sister was in Florida with her boyfriend as he graduated AIT for the Army. I missed her a lot that day and still miss her as she is still is Florida as I type this. But spending time with family on Thanksgiving, playing games and watching football was so great.
The day after Thanksgiving, I decided to make Monica from “Friends” turkey sandwich with the moist maker and OH MY GOSH it was so good! The layers were as follows:
Bread, turkey, a gravy soaked piece of bread, stuffing and bread. It was so simple and so tasty.
There is so much to be thankful for this year. My amazing friends, that even though I don’t see them as often as I wish I could, are always there for me and are a blast to be around. My family, who always support and comfort me when I am in need. And for my God above who has continued to bless me in the most incredible ways.
